TONIGHT: UKPagan moot with talk

Hi,

First let me make a quick apology for taking my eyes off the ball: the Pagan Society's spring events programme will be out soon.

Now then, tonight (Sunday 7 Feb) is time once again for the excellent local Pagan moot organised by members of the UK Pagan "The Valley" forum.  Tonight's talk is by the Pagan Society's very own Jenni Bergman, who will be talking to us about her research on elves in folklore.  As a postgraduate student at Cardiff University, Jenni has been able to look at appearances of the "other folk" in tales from across Europe, seeking out common elements to the stories and placing the concept of elves in its true cultural and mythical context. Join us in the upstairs function room of the Rummer Tavern, opposite Cardiff Castle, from 8pm, for drinks, chat, and an interesting talk.  The organisers ask for a £1 contribution per person, to cover the cost of room hire.
