Water
I am the constant flow of your tumultuous emotions,
I am your lifeblood.
Use me to heal, and I will soothe and balm your wounds,
Stifle my flow and I will gently break you:
Wear you away to dust.
I am the tears that fall with your joy, sadness, and rage.
I am the life-giving rain and the mirror of the rainbow.
I am Mother Ocean and Sister River,
And you hardly notice me and my unconscious depths,
Filled with hidden secrets and mystery.
Fire
I am the eternal longing that burns in your loins,
I am the heat within your darkest desires and most inner depths.
Seduction, desire, and passion are my music,
And I bear within me the dual nature of creation and destruction.
I am the healing flame,
The soothsayer's hearth.
I am the muse in the poet's heart
Yet my anger is great, and I will ravage, rape, burn, and destroy any in my path.
Earth
I am the breast of the mother,
The protection of her arms,
And the strength of her womb.
I am the deepest, darkest cave from whence we all come,
And to which we all shall return.
Through me is born life,
Through me the wheel of the sacred year is created.
I am your support,
Your foundation,
Your most prized resources...
I am the greatest mountain and the tiniest grain of sand.
I will feed you, nurture you, and protect you.
But take away my dignity, rape me, and pillage me,
And I will crush your life from you,
Taking back what I gave to you,
And you will learn.
Air
I am the soft whispering voice, singing in the wind.
I am the shouts and cries of the warrior sounding over the mountains.
I carry on my back the messages of billions,
And I refresh you in the heat of the burning sun.
I am the keen mind that searches through logic,
I am Sophia, Goddess of philosophers.
Without me your life would be a muddle of confusion.
Spirit
I AM.
