How to join the Pagan Society

Who runs the Pagan Society?

Offerings magazine

Our free online magazine has been running for over 4 years. Issue 18 of Offerings magazine has its regular Editorial, this time ranting about people who wear elf ears; we also have an excellent article on "Celtic Religion" and if that term means anything at all, a piece by Wiccan High Priest Peter Nash about healing in Wicca, an article on the history, symbolism, and lore of the humble (yet beautiful) rose, and a rather virulent rant about "Organized Pagan Practice Syndrome". On top of this, we've got several other great articles from CUPS members and other Pagan authors and experts, a dozen reviews of recent events, books, films, and Tarot decks, and some fantastic short fiction. There's plenty to keep you reading for a while, so enjoy!

You can read the entire magazine here
And all previous issues can be found here

Looking for Articles

CUPS is currently looking for articles or other items (such as artwork and reviews) for their termly magazine, Offerings. Our aim is to make it as diverse as possible, with information on many different Pagan paths, issues, and more. If you have anything you feel might be suitable for our magazine (and you don't have to be a member for this) please feel free to send it to Kim at Kim Huggens, Offerings Magazine Editor
P.S. (Please take a look at our submission guidelines.)

pick your own, sunday 21st

Well mid-summer is almost upon us and so we have organised a trip for Sunday. We will be walking from the students union to a pick you own place a little outside of Cardiff. We will be walking along the Taff trail and up to Morganstown. The walk will be about 6ish miles, never fear we will be walking at a reasonable pace and we are intending it to be a nice leisurely walk (rather than an excruciating hike) and we will be stopping for a picnic somewhere along the way. The pick your own place will have strawberries, blueberries and possibly some other fruits in season, as well as this they have their own honey, wine and preserves. Once laden with our fruit we will be taking the train back from Radyr station.

We will meet at the Blackwell's side of the union at 11am on Sunday, please bring your own lunch, some money as you will have to pay to pick and for the train home. Please also wear sensible shoes, I would strongly advise walking boots, bring plenty of water, sun screen and incase it rains (Gods forbid) it would be advisable to bring water proofs.
